Avéli ™ Long- Term Cellulite Reduction Procedure

Dr. Charles Slack is one of the first board certified plastic surgeons to offer the Avéli™ procedure which provides long lasting, significant improvement in the appearance of cellulite.

What is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a depression with defined edges seen on the surface of the skin, generally on the buttocks or thighs. It is caused by several factors, fatty accumulation under the skin, hormonal changes and fibrous bands that tether your skin to the muscles below. Because there are multiple factors that result in the development of cellulite, it is difficult to fully correct.

The Avéli™ was designed to address the fibrous bands or septa that are the major cause of skin dimpling seen with cellulite. Some septal bands are important for skin support but others can harden and shorten resulting in cellulite.

What’s an Avéli â„¢ cellulite reduction treatment?

The Avéli â„¢ procedure is a based on a deep understanding of the anatomy of cellulite.  While numerous treatments approach the correction of cellulite from the outside in, Avéli â„¢ identifies and releases the primary structural cause of cellulite (the fibrous bands) from the inside-out in a single minimally invasive procedure with little recovery time.

How Dr. Slack can reduce cellulite with Avéli ™

The Avéli™ procedure is a potential solution for patients across the cellulite severity spectrum. The procedure is performed by Dr. Slack in the OR using a handheld device inserted through a very small incision away from the cellulite. The devise deploys a small blade to manually cut and release the fibrous bands causing the cellulite dimples. it’s as easy as 1 2 3.

  1. Dr. Slack guides the Avéli™ device under the skin directly to the targeted dimples.
  2. After he identifies the fibrous bands causing a dimple, those bands are precisely released.
  3. Dr. Slack can then confirm their release in real-time, delivering visibly smoother skin quickly after the procedure.
